I’m back with what I hope will be a regular series. Did you miss the first installment? Well, you can either scroll down a couple posts or check out the “Trade Bait” link at the top of the blog. There’s a 1/1, some other low numbered parallels and a few autos among others.
Today, I’m bringing several packs to the table. Remember, I’m opening a pack each day from my rainy day box and then showing related cards from 3 other Moments & Milestones boxes I’ve opened in the past. Shall we?
If you remember, I only posted 2 packs last time and I skipped over this in favor of the 1/1 and auto pack.
The only card that’s not available is the Frank Thomas, because that’s one of over 500 cards I need from the set. No 1/1 this time. The black parallels are about 1:2 packs, so we’ll see more of those than the blues over all. This Utley is #25/25 if that matters to anyone.
It’s nice that they have a different picture to show the team Sheffield was on when he hit that particular home run. 2 Dodgers, 1 Marlin, 1 Brewer and 1 Yankee are up for grabs. A couple more Sheffs also reared their heads in pack 6. Scroll down, won’t you?
This isn’t going to be the last you see of Ryan Howard. In fact, I went on a run with my most recent packs as you’ll see.
Once again, all for trade except for the Maddux.
Really, I’m surprised at finding another blue, and honestly it’s a little more special to see a rookie. Clay has three cards in the set, so that means there are only 30 blue cards total of him. The rookie class in this set is pretty bad, too.
The card in the middle is a Phillies card, the rest of the Thomes are Indians.
See what I mean about a Howard run? Nice selection of players here. Who wants ’em? I couldn’t find any other Pence cards, so the black is all there is for him.
2 black Ichiros, and a couple Hoffman parallels. Plenty of Trevor to go around. Or to one person.
I think all of these are from 2007 except the 1 Pettitte I found.
We’ll end this installment with a few Pujols cards. I actually have another 5, but I figure we’ll wait and see if he pops up in another pack and I’ll show those then. People are welcome to reserve the whole batch in the meantime. If Kerry from Cards on Cards needs any, I’ll let him claim them since I definitely owe him a lot right now.
Well, the blue’s are supposed to be 1:4 packs. Something tells me we’re going to see very few in the next 2/3rds of the box. Who’s our resident Sheffield fan that wants to take these away?
I found no other Bedards or Youngs. I’ve already shown my Manny pile, so that leaves Whiny McCheats. This pack shows him as a Mariner. I have a bunch of him, and I have a feeling we’ll see him pop up in the box again, so I’m only showing 1/3rd of my M&M stash.
Well, Play at the Plate requested Rangers. Doubt this is what he was wanting. But surely there’s some A-Rod collector among us, right? I know there’s a market for his cards still, because I sold my black parallels a couple months back for a decent amount of money. Who wants ’em?
Until next time!
I like the Pence for sure!
I believe I need those two Dodger Sheffields. I think. Not exactly memorizing every HR number here.
Of course I want the A-Rods. He’s not my favorite, but the team collector in me demands it.

I’d be interested in eventually dealing for the Utley.
I’m definitely interested in the Pujols cards or really any other Cardinals from this crazy set if they are expendable to you. I don’t really know what I have of this set, but it’s not much.
