Good to be Back

Once again, I’ve been away from the blog for a prolonged period of time.  My hope is that this actually the last time.  I know I’ve said that before, but I now have a new position at my company that is not supposed to require any nights and weekends.  Technically the old job didn’t either, but realistically it was needed to get everything done (and that lasted off and on for years).

Now, I’m not expected to manage data coming from over 5000 entities or micromanage the output of 25-30 employees.  Nope. Now I’m doing something else with broader oversight and management.  I won’t bore you with all the details. The main thing is that I should be back for as long as my interest in keeping the blog active allows.  Hooray! for me.  Hooray? for you.

I bet you can’t guess the theme of this post

And I can think of no better way to announce that I’m back by turning my back on some cards.  Well, I guess I’m actually turning my fronts on some cards to show some backs.  Cards like these from the NL All-Star set from last year.  I bought the whole blister but only cared about these 4, so the rest that haven’t sold on sportlots are up for trade.  The pictures on the front are the same as their normal 2017 cards, so you get to see the sea of blue.

Reppin’ the CHC

How about this team set?  It’s one of those blister sets they release at the start of the year.  Here, like the NL set, the main difference is the card number, as the fronts are the same.  Well, Rizzo and Bryant are different as they do not match their series 2 counterparts.  I wish more offered unique pictures to add value to the set, as it were.

Hey, I guess it’s nice that I collect almost all of the players in the set. Those guys are going to give me a lot of ammo in the upcoming months and years, and provide more trade opportunities.

That’s a lot of blue

Man, I’ve already run out of things to say about these.  Aren’t you glad I’m back to blogging with such insightful writing as this?  Maybe I’ll do better next time.  Probably not, but maybe.
