Time to keep ripping along in our GAC adventure with the second of three parts. As a quick recap, I ended the first part with 36 known points and 2 unknown cards as the commissioner didn’t have points assigned to them yet (updated total is 45). Still, it’s time to keep on truckin’ as they say and open a few more packs in what will surely be a losing effort. Need more Cubs in these packs.

These Indigenous Heroes inserts are supposed to be 1:10 packs, but I’m pretty sure this was the only one in the box. I did get the mystery mini and the flag, so it’s evening out. Also pretty nice I got the one that was worth extra points.

The Home Run Challenge are on per box and I really wish it weren’t a cross-product thing. I with the whole contest was handled differently instead of picking a specific day for a specific player. I just miss Crash the Game and Predictors.

A second flag in the box (1:50 odds, remember). The beaches are much more common and honestly, they’re just not my thing. They’re better than the natural wonders from last year if only because they lack a colored border. Beaches may be visually interesting in person, but it is tough to capture that in pictures with these photo effects tacked on top.

I’m getting some really good A&G backs in this box – Maddux, Ohtani and Clemente. Still too many Yankees. Sad, because I know Rickey is shown as an A in other cards in the set. Are we ready to debate where Harper will land next year?

The baseball superstitions are probably my favorite mini insert of this year. You know there’s a Wade Boggs mention on the back without even looking. It pairs well with the equipment full size insert, but I wish the minis were a bit more common.
