Wow, it feels like it has been forever since I’ve put up a trade post. I feel like I’m behind on everything now. That’s only because I actually am. I’ve mentioned it before, but I have a couple newer trades that are now in line for appreciation and I’m hoping I can get to doing […]

In my March post, I mentioned how that month has been historically difficult for me due to work concerns. That’s the big deadline we work toward each year, and it becomes an all-hands on deck, don’t plan anything during nights and weekends affair. April, on the other hand, is a lot more free. For me […] I’m very, very close to being able to post trade bait again. I just need to update my want lists after a couple recent purchases and then I should be all set. No more trips coming up that I know of. No work crap slowing me down or taking away my nights and weekends. It’ll […] One of the most annoying things about collecting, in my opinion, is dealing with the non-standard card sizes. I’ve expressed my displeasure of minis in the past, but rarely do I get to talk about the oversize stuff. That’s because I haven’t been actively seeking the oversized cards for quite some time. As a quick refresher, he responded to some of my Gypsy Queen trade bait posts and we worked out a nice, large exchange – mostly […] This is part two of a twenty-five part series chronicling my budding collections of the 2016 World Series champion Cubs. Obviously, I’ve already starting showing off some of those cards, but I wanted to offer a formal introduction to the various players. With my legacy player collections, I’m still going to attempt to show every […] Another month, another round of saved searches bearing gifts that I bought for myself. This was my birthday month, but I didn’t expand my budget. Even so, I wound up with quite a few good cards at a reasonable price. I have several months backlogged, so let’s just get into it. fake 1997 patch […] This is a series I’ve thought about doing for a little while. Those that read the blog with moderate consistency will know that I am collecting most of the 2016 World Series champion Cubs. Obviously, I’ve already starting showing off some of those cards, but I wanted to offer a formal introduction to the various […] |
