June was a bad month. I don’t really want to talk about June. I was rarely home. Bad things happened. It was a mess and a dark time. Being overseas, I didn’t want to look at stuff to buy. I didn’t want to expose my paypal to any foreign IPs, etc. So, it was a […] Very shortly, I’ll stop the three package rotation of trades I’ve been carrying on lately. I need to squeeze in some new trades that are trickling in, or recently arrived. I’m hoping that the sooner I can post the newer stuff, the more likely people will be to trade with me. Probably not how it […] At the show, I expanded my budget a little bit. I put a little cash aside each month just for this show, which was thankfully easier due to paying off my car and credit cards a while back. That allowed me to spend more time in boxes that weren’t $1 or less, and expand my […] Alright. Two months have passed since the last installment of this trade package. I really need to get better about staying up to date on these things. Anyway, as a quick recap, these are from Kyle at Nolan’s Dugout. If you want to revisit part 1, it is available to you right here. Part 2 […] The National is easily the best card show I’ve ever had the privilege to attend. I know not everyone has the opportunity, but if you can arrange it, please do yourself a favor. There are so many vendors there that are simply looking to liquidate everything that they have, and there’s so much to look […] This is part two of a twenty-five part series chronicling my budding collections of the 2016 World Series champion Cubs. Obviously, I’ve already starting showing off some of those cards, but I wanted to offer a formal introduction to the various players. With my legacy player collections, I’m still going to attempt to show every […] Work, vacation, work, sickness, and work have kept me away from the blog for awhile again. I will never understand how many of you post so regularly. I have quite a bit to talk about soon and series to continue, new ones to start, National cards to show off, and trade bait to post. Oh, […] If you missed part one of the loot I received from Kyle at Nolan’s Dugout, then click on this link. If you missed part two…here. And three. And four. As a quick recap, I sent him some Topps online exclusive code giveaway die cuts, and he sent me stuff I could actually use. A lot […] This week marked my 6th wedding anniversary. That’s a very strange thing to think about. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that “long.” I remember the wedding quite vividly and even though I can mark various benchmarks and events on a timeline over the past six years if forced, my general impression is that it […] A while back (let’s say 2+ years ago, I think?) Kyle from Nolan’s Dugout contacted me about some Topps die cuts I had for trade. Those were the golden giveaway code redemption things you could only get online (unless you had a customer service issue and Topps sent you a ton of them as a […] |
